Pumpkin Day was so much fun!
We started out the day by going to check on our pumpkins. They had grown over the weekend and there were enough for all of us to pick one pumpkin!
We then went inside and did some fun pumpkin day centers. They matched upper and lowercase pumpkin letters, sorted pumpkin sounds, made a name pumpkins on a fence project, and made pumpkin faces with Play-Doh.
We then had a pumpkin day snack; jack-o-lantern cookies, candy corn, and a juice boxes. A big THANK YOU to Mrs. Wehby for sending in all the pumpkin day treats! During this time, we also watched a little video all about pumpkins. Did you know that the more ridges in a pumpkin, the more seeds it has?
We also decorated our pumpkins with stickers and made a parts of a pumpkin project.
It was a GREAT day!
