Center Work Coming Home

During our day, the students have an hour block called "Literacy Centers". The students are broken into 5 groups and visit 4 centers each day.

At these centers they might have a worksheet to complete or an activity. When it is time to move to their next center, rather they are done or not, the work goes in their yellow folder and they move on.

At a later time, they might get time to work out of their yellow folders and finish some of their unfinished work.

Every couple of weeks, I will check their folders to see if they are doing their center work. If they have more work finished than unfinished they get a punch on their punch card. When their punch cards are all full, they get a prize.

Today, we had some work time to work out of our yellow folders and then I checked the yellow folders.

All center work is coming home today rather it is finished or unfinished.

You do not have to finish this work with you child!
